Homework (07/09/16)

Homework (07/09/16)

English Reading: Book of choice (read for 10/15 minutes)
Spelling in spelling folder: third 1/2/3 words spread words evenly across the evenings if you can. By Friday children should know all the spellings on their spelling lists (middle box on the page)
English writing: put 3 of the words on their spelling list into a sentence. Change it up from the last 3 words the children used. In homework copies.
Maths: Tables Champion p7 Wednesday.
Irish Reading: p3 Leigh sa Bhaile. Can parents (if you are able to) ask the children the questions that appear on the page and go through the tricky vocab in the corner.
Irish Learning: Front page of Irish copies - na huimhreacha pearsanta (duine amhain, beirt...) I didn't explain this well enough yesterday on this blog. I want the children to be able to use these numbers (to count people) in Irish conversation and when questioned. Spelling is an added positive but once they know what the words mean and where to use them that would be brilliant.
